WOW! things have been busy this past year. We've fallen off with keeping up on our blog. Just wanted to post some photos of what we are putting out these days. Were doing everything from high performance grovelers to daily drivers to sick good wave boards. Check out the photos below for some samples of what we are doing these days.
Below is a round tail version of our Lil Buddy model. The guy we made this board for said it goes mental! Pretty much the only board you need for daily waves in California.
Below is a cool board we do called The Moped , this is a great board that catches everything in site and stays nice and loose for easy turning. The board below is 6'0" X 21" X 2.5" with a custom resin tint. Check out the link for more info about this board model.
If catching waves is what your about, but you still want a board that can maneuver easily then this is the board for you! You'll out paddle the competition and still rip like a shortboard.
The board below is our Loose Change model - this is the ultimate small wave rip stick! a true High Performance Groveler, specifically designed for surf in the gutless to junk range. This board allows you to easily catch waves as it has lots of volume but stays incredibly loose and snappy in junky surf. Ride this model about 2 - 4 inches shorter than your normal shortboard and watch out for mind blowing results in the worst of waves.
The board below is our Brofessional model which is one of our top selling surfboard models. Designed for waves in the waist high to overhead range. This is the board for the dedicated ripper that wants to be dialed into one surfboard model that can handle waist high to well overhead surf with reliability. The board below is a prototype we are working on called the "bro-down" is a high volume small to medium wave shortboard designed for surfing aggressively in lest than good surf. This board is a counterpart to the loose change model. Instead of being really loose and snappy off the bottom, the BroDown has more drive down the line for linking up sections in gutless surf. Keep an eye out for this model to be available soon!
The board below is our Wrecking Ball model - this is a great board for a surfer that is looking for a small wave surfboard to surf vertical and in the pocket. Super loose and skatey and turns with ease. This board is easy to overpower when the waves pick up so its definitely a small wave design, great for gutless beach break waves.
Below is our BFF model (its your best friend forever) because its simply a reliable, great drivey shortboard designed to handle a variety of conditions. Waist high to overhead this is a full volume shortboard that can handle most anything your local spot can throw at it.
Below is our take on the classic twin fin fish model surfboard. We like to call it simply the Real Fish This board is fun and skatey and works amazing at mushy point breaks or rolling style waves that offer little to no power. Low entry and tail rocker allow for easy wave entry and easy speed generation.
Below is our Magic Fish model: Why do we call it the Magic Fish - its simply the best, most high performance, all around fish we make. It features a belly / Vee entry with a deep spiral vee that starts at around the mid point and flows out the tail. The double wing swallow and quad set up allow for tons of drive and speed in gutless waves and it allows the board to flow insane when the surf turns on. This board goes from fun to buttery as the waves turn on!
